As Founder, President and CEO, Ananda oversees nFocus Solutions’ strategic direction and manages Company operations. While attending college in Texas, Ananda started her Company which specialized in event production and fundraising for community-based organizations. While working with these organizations, Ananda noticed that smaller organizations were often unable to attract funders and influential board members who could assist them in growing their programs and services. She noticed the “playing field was uneven” and wanted to help level it, leading to the development of software solutions that address inequity in the public sector.
In 1995, nFocus Software (now nFocus Solutions) launched its first commercial software application, called KidTrax® (now part of the TraxSolutions® suite) which is used by over 4,500 community-based programs across the United States and Canada. Today, entire communities have deployed TraxSolutions® to measure the impact and efficacy of their social services.
Ananda was appointed to the Senate Congressional Committee for Small Business and was one of only twelve people nationally appointed to serve as a White House Presidential Partner. In addition, Ananda is the recipient of Arizona State University’s Spirit of Enterprise Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence, and she serves as a Director on several Boards.
